Description
A quick and fluffy air fryer breakfast frittata made with eggs, turkey sausage, cheese, and vegetables for a warm, protein-packed start to the day.
Ingredients
Cooking spray
¼ pound cooked turkey breakfast sausage, crumbled
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
½ cup shredded Cheddar–Monterey Jack cheese blend
2 tablespoons red bell pepper, diced
1 green onion, chopped
1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C). Spray a nonstick 6×2-inch cake pan with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the turkey sausage, beaten eggs, shredded cheese, red bell pepper, green onion, and cayenne pepper if using.
- Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Pour the egg mixture into the prepared cake pan and gently tap the pan to level the mixture.
- Place the pan into the air fryer basket and cook for 18–20 minutes, until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Carefully remove the pan from the air fryer and let the frittata cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use a cake pan that fits comfortably in your air fryer basket.
You can customize this recipe with additional vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
For a spicier version, add extra cayenne or chili flakes.
Line the pan with parchment paper for easier removal if desired.
