Description

Quick and crispy Air Fryer Stuffing with a golden exterior and tender, flavorful center—classic comfort flavors made fast without using the oven.


Ingredients

6 cups bread cubes (slightly stale)

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 celery stalks, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

3/41 cup chicken or vegetable broth

1 tsp dried sage

1/2 tsp dried thyme

3/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Place bread cubes in a large bowl and toss with melted butter until lightly coated.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and celery with a small amount of butter until softened, about 4–5 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds, then remove from heat.
  5. Add sautéed vegetables to the bread cubes along with sage, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Gradually pour in broth while tossing, until bread is moist but not soggy.
  7. Transfer stuffing to the air fryer basket in an even layer without packing it down.
  8. Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy on top.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

Slightly stale bread works best for texture.

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.

Fresh herbs can be added just before serving.
