Description

Ingredients

1 large artichoke

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 lemon, juiced

1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Trim the artichoke and remove tough outer leaves.
  3. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Brush mixture generously over the artichoke.
  5. Wrap the artichoke in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 45–60 minutes until tender.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Add fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary for more aroma.
