Description

A crisp and refreshing broccoli slaw made with crunchy vegetables tossed in a creamy, tangy dressing that’s perfect for picnics, barbecues, or easy weeknight meals.

Ingredients

4 cups shredded broccoli slaw

1 cup shredded carrots

1 cup shredded red cabbage (optional)

¾ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons honey or sugar

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the shredded broccoli, carrots, and red cabbage (if using) to a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey or sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables.
  4. Toss well until all vegetables are evenly coated.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Toss again before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.

Notes

Store-bought broccoli slaw mix works perfectly and saves time.

Add nuts or seeds for extra crunch.

Adjust sweetness and acidity to suit your taste.

Best served chilled.
