Ingredients
1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 teaspoons chipotle seasoning or chipotle powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 large tortillas or wraps
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 large avocado, sliced
½ red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ cup sauce of choice (ranch, mayo, or chipotle mayo)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with chipotle seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the pan, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice into thin strips.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
- Lay tortillas flat and layer shredded lettuce, sliced chicken, tomatoes, avocado, and red onion.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top if using.
