Description

This Crescent Roll Veggie Pizza is a quick and easy appetizer featuring a buttery crescent roll crust topped with a tangy ranch cream cheese spread and a colorful mix of fresh, crunchy vegetables. Perfect for parties or a light snack, it combines smooth, creamy flavors with a satisfying veggie crunch.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 (8 oz) can crescent rolls or crescent sheets

Ranch Cream Cheese Spread

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 oz dry ranch seasoning mix (about 3 tablespoons)

Toppings

  • 2 cups chopped broccoli florets
  • 2 cups chopped cauliflower florets
  • 2 cups chopped carrots

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a 13×9-inch baking pan with non-stick spray. Unroll the crescent rolls or sheets and press the dough evenly into the pan, carefully sealing any perforated edges with your fingers to form a single crust.
  2. Bake the crust: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 13 to 15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 10 minutes until it’s just slightly warm and no longer hot to the touch.
  3. Make the ranch cream cheese spread: While the crust cools, place the softened cream cheese in a large bowl. Using a hand mixer or spoon, beat it until smooth and creamy. Stir in the mayonnaise, sour cream, and dry ranch seasoning mix until everything is fully combined.
  4. Assemble the pizza: Spread the ranch cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust. Then, sprinkle the chopped broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots evenly over the top.
  5. Chill before serving: Cover the pizza and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the spread to firm up.
  6. Serve: When ready, cut the veggie pizza into squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter. Enjoy it cold as a refreshing appetizer or snack.

Notes

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Prevent sogginess: Place a paper towel underneath the slices to absorb excess moisture and keep the crust crisp.
  • Serving suggestion: This veggie pizza is best enjoyed cold, so no reheating is necessary.
