Ingredients

4 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  2. In another shallow dish, combine crushed cornflakes and flour.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak briefly on both sides.
  4. Press the soaked bread into the cornflake mixture, coating evenly.
  5. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook French toast slices until golden brown and crispy on each side, about 3–4 minutes per side.
