Description

This Easy Garlic Toast recipe is a quick and flavorful side dish made using hamburger buns. Buttery, garlicky, and seasoned with Italian herbs, it’s a simple and delicious addition to any meal, ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

4 hamburger buns

6 Tbsp. butter (softened)

2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt until well combined.
  3. Slice the hamburger buns in half horizontally.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on the cut side of each bun half.
  5. Place the buns on a baking sheet, buttered side up.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden and the butter has melted and become fragrant.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve warm.

Notes

For a cheesy version, sprinkle shredded Parmesan or mozzarella cheese on top before baking.

Experiment with fresh herbs like parsley, thyme, or rosemary in the butter mixture for added flavor.

Toast the buttered buns in a skillet for a quicker method—just cook over medium heat until golden and crispy.

Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the butter mixture for a spicy twist.
