1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
¼ cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons peanut oil
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil.
- Add the egg noodles and cook until tender but still slightly firm to the bite.
- Drain the noodles well.
- Using the same pot, add the soy sauce, peanut oil, sesame oil, and granulated garlic.
- Return the drained noodles to the pot and stir until evenly coated.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the noodles to the skillet and stir-fry, allowing them to sit briefly to develop light crispness.
- Toss until heated through and lightly golden in spots.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onion before serving.
Notes
Letting the noodles sit briefly in the pan helps them crisp.
Adjust soy sauce for desired saltiness.
Add protein or vegetables to make it a complete meal.
Granulated garlic provides even flavor, but minced garlic can be substituted.
