Description
This Homemade Big Mac Sauce is a creamy, tangy condiment that tastes just like the famous fast-food favorite. Made in just five minutes with simple pantry ingredients, it’s perfect for burgers, fries, wraps, and salads.
Ingredients
100 g (0.5 cups) mayonnaise
1.5 tsp paprika
2 tbsp chopped gherkins
2 tbsp pickle juice (from the gherkin jar)
1 tbsp yellow mustard
Instructions
- Place the mayonnaise, paprika, chopped gherkins, pickle juice, and mustard into a small mixing bowl.
- Stir well until all ingredients are evenly combined and the sauce is smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- Before serving, give the sauce a quick stir and use it to top burgers, drizzle over salads, or as a dip for fries and vegetables.
Notes
Add 1 tsp ketchup for a slightly sweeter flavor.
Use smoked paprika for a smoky version or add a few drops of hot sauce for a kick.
For a lighter version, use low-fat mayonnaise or Greek yogurt.
Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
If it thickens after chilling, stir in a splash of pickle juice or water to loosen it.
