Flaky puff pastry bites filled with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, baked until golden and perfect for elegant yet effortless entertaining.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
4 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
1/4 cup cranberry sauce
1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
1 large egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into evenly sized squares.
- Place a cube of brie in the center of each pastry square.
- Add a small dollop of cranberry sauce on top of the brie.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and press gently to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
- Serve warm for best flavor and texture.
Notes
Do not overfill to prevent leaking during baking.
A firm brie works best for clean bites.
These can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
