Description

Flaky puff pastry bites filled with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, baked until golden and perfect for elegant yet effortless entertaining.


Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

4 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes

1/4 cup cranberry sauce

1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves

1 large egg, beaten


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into evenly sized squares.
  3. Place a cube of brie in the center of each pastry square.
  4. Add a small dollop of cranberry sauce on top of the brie.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and press gently to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Serve warm for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Do not overfill to prevent leaking during baking.

A firm brie works best for clean bites.

These can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
