Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup toasted pecans (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the toasted pecans.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
Add cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth and flavor.
Incorporate dried fruits or chocolate chips for a different twist.
To make gluten-free, use a gluten-free flour blend.
