Description

Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread is a nutty, sweet loaf with toasted pecans and a soft, fluffy texture. Infused with vanilla and baked to golden perfection, it’s the perfect treat for breakfast, afternoon tea, or any gathering.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

2 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup toasted pecans (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the toasted pecans.
  5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Add cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth and flavor.
