Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup fruit jam
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add coconut oil, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth dough forms.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface.
- Cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Place a spoonful of jam on half of the hearts.
- Cover with the remaining hearts and press edges to seal.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
