Ingredients
Liquid Base
- 1 cup almond milk (plus more if needed) or preferred milk
Fruits and Vegetables
- 3 handfuls spinach
- 2 cups pineapple chunks
- 2 ripe kiwi, peeled
- 1 1/2 frozen banana
Optional Add-Ins
- 1 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds, optional
- 3-4 ice cubes
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Gather all ingredients including almond milk, spinach, pineapple chunks, peeled kiwi, frozen banana, chia seeds if using, and ice cubes.
- Blend ingredients: Place all ingredients into a high-powered blender. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
- Adjust consistency: Check the thickness of the smoothie. If it’s too thin, add more frozen banana or ice cubes to thicken. If too thick, add a splash of almond milk to loosen the mixture and blend again briefly.
- Serve immediately: Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy right away for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use a high-powered blender or smoothie maker for the best texture; food processors are not recommended.
- Leftover smoothie can be frozen in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
- To serve frozen leftovers, thaw in the refrigerator and optionally eat with a spoon like ice cream.
